I run bespoke workshops and create performances in primary schools, middle schools, and high schools in France for students learning English as a foreign language. I work in collaboration with teachers to design artistic experiences that are both rich and accessible to language learners.
My practice is rooted in play, humour, and storytelling, grounded in the belief that young people — regardless of their language level or theatrical experience — can create engaging work that supports both their language learning and their creative confidence.
I adapt each workshop to the needs, goals, and language level of the group. The length can vary depending on time constraints and the school's schedule. If you're interested in booking a workshop or have questions about funding, get in touch. I'd be happy to discuss how we can tailor a project for your school.

UPCOMING PROJECT
I’m currently developing Theatre in a Suitcase, a program in Bourgogne inspired by an award-winning Australian model. It brings together schools, local theatres, and anglophone artists for 20 hours of workshops with 3ème and 2nde students, leading to a 20-minute performance.
At the end, all participating schools will gather in a theatre to perform for each other — using only props and set pieces that fit in a suitcase — before watching a professional show based on the same theme. The theme? “What if…?” Romeo and Juliet (in the multiverse)
What if Tybalt didn’t die? What if Juliet was a boy? What if one change changed everything? Students will explore Shakespeare’s plot and themes — love, hate, chance, fate, family — and imagine a single change that alters the story. They’ll create new scenes combining original text and modern language.
If you or your school would like to participate, please get in touch.
This workshop series is inspired by the American folk song We’re Going on A bear Hunt. Its playful and repetitive text is a perfect way for young language learners to explore emotional play, group work, physical expression whilst developing simple language and performance skills.
This workshop series uses drama games and techniques to explore the heroes and heroines of Greek Mythology - the original super heroes. Theseus and the Minotaur, Icarus and his wings, Pandora’s box, King Midas… are only some of the epic adventures participants will discover. Participants will then create an English speaking theatre show based on modern retellings of famous greek myths which they will then perform.
In this workshop participants will explore the whodunnit genre using the game Cluedo and the works of the Queen of Crime - Agatha Christie as inspiration. Participants will learn about who dunnit character archetypes and the elements of a convincing whodunnit plot to create their own crime scene which they will write and then perform.
This workshop series uses works of art by artists like Banksy and Vivian Maier to inspire students to create their own original scenes. Through theatre, students respond to provocative images, explore themes that matter to them, and reflect on their place in the world. Together, we write and devise a performance that gives voice to their ideas and interpretations.
This workshop invites students to explore Arthur Miller’s The Crucible in a contemporary context, addressing themes like gossip, conspiracy theories, cancel culture, fake news, and modern-day witch hunts. Through improvisation, students explore the parallels between the Salem witch trials and current events, then collaboratively create and perform original scenes inspired by their discoveries.
These workshops are focussed on preparing terminal students for their Grand Oral. Participants will become aware of their physical presence in front of a public, examine sentence stress, rhythm and intonation, learn techniques for voice projection and volume, and discover drama techniques for managing nerves.
