I write full-length plays with songs for theatre companies, schools, and individuals. I write about small, powerful moments—like the time a man cut my son’s hair without asking, because he thought it was too long. I write to understand life’s deep mysteries, such as my ailing grandmother’s imagined love affair with a made-up man named Yuri, the one-armed sausage maker. In France, I’ve adapted fairytales for young audiences, in English. These universal stories are familiar to language learners and equally enjoyable for young and older audiences alike.
I am currently working on two new projects.
Theatre in a suitcase - a programme to be launched in 2026 that combines theatre projects in French colleges and lycées with the creation of a new piece of writing. Click here for more information.
I am also writing a new play exploring motherhood and regret.
